Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG uploads
Published Oct 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Kraft Plugins Demo Importer Plus 2.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through SVG uploads. The WXR importer's attachment path accepts SVG content without neutralizing executable markup and later serves the file without safe output handling. Author-level access is required to plant the file, and script execution occurs when another user accesses the imported SVG.
