Unauthenticated SQL injection via unescaped lang parameter
Published Oct 10, 2024 · Updated Oct 10, 2024
SQL injection in TI WooCommerce Wishlist 2.8.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data through the lang parameter. The plugin inserts the user-controlled lang value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or parameterized preparation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is database confidentiality loss rather than data modification or service interruption.
