Code injection in Arista Edge Threat Management 17.1.0 through 17.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute code via a custom captive page. Arista has not disclosed the attacker-controlled field or the code operation that processes it, but compromise manifests as unauthorized processes on the NGFW. Exploitation requires the Captive Portal application to be installed and enabled with Custom selected for the captive page.
