Unauthenticated account takeover via unverified Google login
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authentication bypass in Tophive UltimateAI 2.8.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over any account through Google login. The ultimate_ai_register_or_login_with_google function accepts a supplied user identity without sufficiently verifying that it belongs to the Google-authenticated person. Possession of an existing user's email address is the only reported gate, and an administrator email yields administrator access.
