Billing access escalation via unrestricted role invitation
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Lunary before 1.4.30 allows remote authenticated users with administrator roles to access billing resources. The user-creation endpoint accepts a billing role in an administrator's member invitation without enforcing the intended billing-only restriction. An existing administrator account and interaction with the invitation are required, and the invited account gains access to billing resources reserved for billing users.
