SQL query manipulation via unescaped deletion parameter
Published Sep 23, 2024 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Profile Registration without Reload/Refresh 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The del.php endpoint inserts the GET list value into a deletion query without neutralizing SQL metacharacters, enabling boolean, error, stacked-query, and time-based payloads. Access to the administrative deletion action is required, and successful exploitation permits database reads and writes.
