Stored script execution via unsanitized full_name
Published Sep 23, 2024 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Profile Registration without Reload/Refresh 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The add.php registration handler stores the full_name value without sanitization or output encoding, and admin.php later renders it in the registrant table. A public registration submission is sufficient, but exploitation requires an administrator to view the stored entry; script execution remains within the application's browser origin.
