Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized category ID
Published Sep 22, 2024 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
SQL injection in Online Eyewear Shop Website 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the id parameter. view_category.php places the raw GET id value inside a quoted SELECT against category_list, allowing crafted SQL to execute in the database query. An authenticated session reaches the admin endpoint, and the published error-based payload exposes the database name without demonstrating host code execution.
