Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized pincode query
Published Sep 22, 2024 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
SQL injection in Code Projects Student Record System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data via a crafted pincode. The pincode-verification.php handler concatenates the POST pincode value directly into a MySQL query without validation or parameter binding. No login is required; a time-delay payload demonstrates query control, enabling unauthorized reads or changes within the database account's permissions.
