Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG uploads
Published Sep 25, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in ThemeXclub OneElements – Best Elementor Addons 1.3.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts via SVG uploads. The SVG upload path accepts attacker-controlled script content without sufficient input sanitization, and the served SVG lacks output escaping. Author-level access is required to plant the file, and a user must access the SVG before its embedded script executes in that user's browser.
