Stored XSS via unescaped Google Maps content
Published Nov 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in WP Royal Royal Addons for Elementor 1.7.1001 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through Google Maps. The widget accepts contributor-controlled map content without sufficient input sanitization and emits it into page output without adequate escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script runs when a visitor opens the affected page, enabling actions in that visitor's browser context.
