Database access via unsanitized login username
Published Sep 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2025
SQL injection in login.php in Code Projects Patient Record Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database via username. The login handler inserts the multipart username value directly into a MySQL query without cleaning, validation, or parameter binding. No authentication or user interaction is required; demonstrated boolean- and time-based payloads permit unauthorized database reads or writes and can delay query processing.
