Administrator-level SQL injection via unescaped orderby parameter
Published Oct 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Total Soft TS Poll 2.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the orderby parameter. The administrative poll-list handler in admin/class-ts_poll_list.php places the user-controlled sorting value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or prepared-query handling. Administrator-level WordPress access and a reachable TS Poll administration page are required; exploitation supports boolean- and time-based extraction of sensitive database contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
