CVE-2024-9007Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated script execution via unescaped date1 reflection

Published Sep 19, 2024 · Updated Sep 20, 2024

Reflected XSS in detailed.php in Jean-Marc Louviaux 123Solar 1.8.4.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via date1. The handler accepts the POST date1 value and inserts it into an HTML input value without output encoding, so markup becomes executable script. A user must render the crafted response; the script then runs in the 123Solar origin and can read or alter data available to that browser session.
