Authenticated PHP execution via unfiltered PASSOx write
Published Sep 19, 2024 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Code injection in 123Solar 1.8.4.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP through a crafted PASSOx form value. admin/admin_invt2.php writes PASSOx directly into config/config_invt1.php without filtering or escaping, and scripts that include the configuration execute the injected code. Access to the administrative configuration handler is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the PHP process privileges.
