CVE-2024-9005Network attack vector

Remote code execution via unsafe web deserialization

Published Oct 8, 2024 · Updated Mar 25, 2025

Unsafe deserialization in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure PME 2022 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute server code. Schneider Electric has not identified the web endpoint or serializer; the published mechanism is limited to unsafe deserialization of attacker-posted data. Exploitation requires low-privileged authentication, active user interaction, and high-complexity conditions; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code on the PME server.
