CVE-2024-8934

Local command injection via crafted feed URL

Published Oct 31, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024

OS command injection in Beckhoff TwinCAT Package Manager before 1.0.603.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary commands. The shared feed configuration accepts a specially crafted package-feed URL without neutralizing command elements before an operating-system command is invoked. Administrative access and interaction with the local graphical interface are required; successful exploitation runs commands with the package manager's privileges.
