CVE-2024-8923Network attack vector

Unauthenticated platform-context code execution

Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024

Code injection in affected ServiceNow Now Platform releases allows remote attackers to execute code without authentication. The public advisory identifies faulty input validation but does not disclose the affected endpoint, input field, or code path that allows supplied data to escape its sandbox and execute. The exposed instance must be network-reachable, and successful exploitation grants code execution within the Now Platform context.
