Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG uploads
Published Oct 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Fonto – Custom Web Fonts Manager 1.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through SVG uploads. The SVG upload path accepts active content without sufficient sanitization and later serves the file without adequate output escaping, so embedded script executes in a visitor's browser. Author-level access or higher is required to upload the SVG, and execution occurs when a user accesses the uploaded file, exposing that user's browser session to attacker-controlled script.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
