Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Dangerous file upload in File Manager Pro 8.3.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to store JavaScript or CSS on WordPress sites. The upload path fails to enforce allowed file types, permitting active web content that can execute as stored cross-site scripting. Exploitation requires file-management permissions granted by an administrator, and successful uploads can run script in a visitor's site context.
