CVE-2024-8888Network attack vector

Unrestricted web access via nonexpiring tokens

Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024

Insufficient session expiration in CIRCUTOR Q-SMT firmware 1.0.4 allows remote attackers to reuse stolen web tokens without restrictions. The web application's session-token lifecycle assigns no expiration date, so captured or locally recovered tokens remain valid indefinitely. Network access and possession of a previously issued token are required; replay grants unrestricted web-application access.
