Stored script execution via unsanitized ticket messages
Published Sep 15, 2024 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Perfex CRM 3.1.6 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another user's browser. The open-ticket path in application/controllers/Clients.php stores the message parameter without neutralizing HTML, then renders it when another user views the ticket. Any client-portal privilege can plant a payload; execution requires a user or administrator to open the submitted ticket.
