CVE-2024-8864Public exploit

Authenticated Python code execution via Calculator eval

Published Sep 15, 2024 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Code injection in Composio SDK 0.5.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute Python code through Calculator input. The Calculator.execute method passes the request.operation string directly to Python eval without restricting it to mathematical expressions. Invocation access to the local Calculator action is required, and injected code runs with the permissions of the host Composio process.
