Stored XSS via unsanitized Text Explorer query
Published Sep 14, 2024 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored XSS in Aim Text Explorer through 3.24.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via a crafted query. The textbox.tsx component passes the query value to React's dangerouslySetInnerHTML without neutralizing executable markup. An authenticated attacker must store a crafted query, and script execution occurs when another user opens the affected Text Explorer view.
