Stored XSS via unescaped vote-button label
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 16, 2025
Stored XSS in CodePeople CP Polls before 1.0.77 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a poll vote-button label. The poll-settings path stores the Vote button label without sanitizing it and renders that label without output escaping. Administrator privileges are required, and the payload executes in a visitor's browser when the affected poll is embedded in a published post.
