Information disclosure via TIF parser out-of-bounds read
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 22, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in PDF-XChange Editor 10.3.1.387 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted TIF file. The TIF parser inadequately validates user-supplied data and reads beyond the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the file; the disclosure can support a separate code-execution exploit.
