Information disclosure via unvalidated U3D object access
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 23, 2024
Use-after-free in PDF-XChange Editor 10.3.0.386 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted U3D file. The U3D parser performs operations on an object without first validating that the object still exists, producing a use-after-free condition. Exploitation requires a target to visit malicious content or open a malicious file; the standalone impact is information disclosure, while code execution requires another vulnerability.
