Account takeover via nonce-free account email update
Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Booking Algorithms BA Book Everything 1.6.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over user accounts. The my_account_update() function accepts a forged account-update request without valid nonce verification, allowing the account email address to be changed. The attack requires an unauthenticated attacker to induce a site administrator to submit the request; the changed address enables a password reset and access to the targeted account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
