CVE-2024-8760Network attack vector

Nonce exfiltration via comment CSS injection

Published Oct 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

CSS injection in Gambit Technologies Stackable 3.13.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to exfiltrate data through crafted comments. Stackable's KSES compatibility changes admit attacker-controlled style attributes while WordPress sanitizes comment content because they also run for users who cannot edit posts. A site must accept the crafted comment and expose a victim's page data to its rendered CSS; stolen time-limited administrator nonces enable CSRF only where the targeted action lacks an independent capability check.
