Administrator-only stored XSS via malicious SVG import
Published Jan 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Soflyy WP All Import Pro 4.9.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through SVG imports. The import flow accepts an SVG containing JavaScript without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, then exposes the payload when the file is viewed. Administrator-level access is required to run the import, and the vendor states that exploitation is limited to the importing administrator.
