Stored script execution via unescaped tracking code
Published Dec 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Data443 Tracking Code Manager 2.3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via tracking code. The post-editor metabox stores tracking-code HTML without sufficient sanitization and emits it into page output without escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient; opening the affected page executes the injected script in the site context.
