Reflected XSS via unescaped settings-page URLs
Published Sep 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected cross-site scripting in Stape Conversion Tracking 2.1.19 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted URL. The admin settings template inserts URLs returned by add_query_arg and remove_query_arg into link href attributes without esc_url output escaping. Execution requires a user with access to the plugin settings page to open the malicious link, and the script runs in that user's browser context.
