Authenticated database manipulation via unneutralized product ID
Published Sep 12, 2024 · Updated Sep 12, 2024
SQL injection in code-projects Inventory Management 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the id parameter. The Products Table Page passes the id value to /model/viewProduct.php without neutralizing SQL metacharacters before constructing a database command. A valid low-privilege account is required, and resulting data access or modification is limited by the application's database permissions.
