Stored XSS via logged User-Agent header
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
Stored XSS in Z-Downloads before 1.11.6 allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser through share URLs. A share request records the unsanitized User-Agent header in the download log, and the log detail view outputs it without escaping. An administrator must create a shared download and open the attacker's log entry, allowing script execution in that administrator's WordPress session.
