Authenticated data extraction via unprepared shortcode query
Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in RealMag777 MDTF – Meta Data and Taxonomies Filter 1.3.3.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The mdf_select_title shortcode inserts its user-controlled meta_key attribute into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Contributor-level WordPress access is required, and injected query fragments expose sensitive information stored in the site database.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
