Admin-level stored XSS via border-radius setting
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
Stored XSS in AYS Pro Quiz Maker before 6.5.9.9 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a quiz style setting. The quiz-creation handler stores the unsanitized ays_quiz_border_radius request parameter and renders it unescaped in the Border radius field. Administrator access is required even when unfiltered_html is disabled; opening the Styles view and hovering over the field executes the script in the viewer's browser.
