Unauthenticated file upload via unchecked Excel import
Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Eyecix Technologies JobSearch WP Job Board 2.6.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to write files to the server. The jobsearch_location_load_excel_file_callback() function accepts an uploaded Excel file without validating its type, allowing dangerous content to be stored. No authentication is required; server-side execution depends on the uploaded file being placed in a web-executable location.
