Service impersonation via insecure self-signed certificates

Broken cryptography in the SSL/TLS component of B&R Automation Runtime and mapp View before 6.1 allows remote attackers to impersonate services. During boot, the products generate self-signed certificates with an insecure cryptographic algorithm when the Automation Studio project supplies no certificate. Exploitation requires system-network access and intercepted client-server traffic, enabling service impersonation without reported data disclosure or interruption.
