Code execution via crafted STP file parsing
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Memory corruption in Autodesk affected applications 2022 through 2025 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted STP file. ACTranslators.exe corrupts memory while parsing untrusted STP content, but Autodesk has not disclosed the exact invalid read, write, or lifetime operation. A Windows user must open or import the file; successful exploitation runs code in the current process, while failed exploitation can crash it or write sensitive data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=2022 <2022.1.6
- Affected versionversion=2023 <2023.1.7
