Code execution via MODEL parser out-of-bounds write
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk AutoCAD-based products 2022 through 2025 allows remote attackers to execute code via a MODEL file. The libodxdll.dll MODEL parser fails to validate user-supplied data before writing past the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires a user to open the file or visit malicious content, and resulting code runs in the current process; a crash or data corruption can also result.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
