Code execution via out-of-bounds SLDPRT parsing
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Autodesk affected applications 2022 through 2025 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted SLDPRT file. The odxsw_dll.dll SLDPRT parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading beyond the end of an allocated buffer. User interaction is required to open the file or visit a malicious page; exploitation can crash the process, expose or alter sensitive data, or execute code in its context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=2022 <2022.1.6
