Manager-session script execution via unencoded feedback
Published Sep 8, 2024 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Online Bank Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in a manager's browser. The Feedback Handler stores account-holder feedback without filtering, and mfeedback.php inserts it into a td element without output encoding. An account holder must submit the payload and a manager must open Feedback; the persistent script then runs in the manager's session.
