Unauthenticated file deletion via unfiltered upload filename
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Path traversal in ParisNeo LoLLMs WebUI before 14 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files or directories through upload_app. The upload_app function accepts the filename value without path filtering and passes it into file-system deletion logic, permitting traversal outside intended application directories. No authentication or user interaction is required, and deletion of host files can corrupt application or system data and interrupt service.
