Authenticated information disclosure via reflected exception text
Published Sep 8, 2024 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
Information exposure in Roll CMS 1484fe2c4e0805946a7bcf46218509fcb34883a9 allows remote authenticated users to read exception details in HTTP errors. Several views.py exception handlers catch missing-template, missing-object, and undefined-template exceptions, then interpolate the exception text into status-424 HttpResponse bodies. Exploitation requires low-privileged access from an adjacent network and exposes application or environment details without reported modification or service interruption.
