Order underpayment via client-controlled total
Published Sep 7, 2024 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
Improper quantity validation in SourceCodester Food Ordering Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to underpay for orders. The Price Handler in /foms/routers/place-order.php accepts the client-supplied total field without binding it to the server-calculated order price. A valid customer session and order submission are required, and altering the intercepted POST request changes payment data without granting data access or interrupting service.
