Arbitrary file deletion via unsanitized workflow path
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Path traversal in ModelScope AgentScope 0.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary host files through /delete-workflow. The endpoint joins the request filename to a per-user directory without reducing it to a basename, then passes the resulting path to os.remove. No authentication or user interaction is required; deletion is limited to files writable by the AgentScope process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
