Open redirect in index.jsp in Automated Logic WebCTRL and Carrier i-Vu 7.0 allows attackers to redirect authenticated users to malicious webpages. The index.jsp handler processes a maliciously crafted URL and redirects a visiting authenticated user to an untrusted destination; Carrier has not disclosed the parameter or validation defect involved. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to visit the attacker-supplied link, enabling redirection without reported direct server-side data modification or service interruption.
