Unauthenticated OS command execution via multipart field names
Published Sep 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 22, 2025
Command injection in SPIP before 4.3.2, 4.2.16, and 4.1.18 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands via multipart uploads. The BigUp Files::extraire_fichiers_valides method converts attacker-controlled multipart field paths into PHP expressions and passes them to eval without escaping embedded quotes. Any unauthenticated visitor who can reach a public SPIP form, including the password-reset page, can execute commands with the web server process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
