Stored XSS via unsanitized time range separator
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
Stored XSS in The Events Calendar before 6.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to run script through a crafted display setting. The Display tab stores the Time range separator without sanitizing or escaping it, and an Events List block renders the value as executable markup. Administrator access is required to store the payload, and script execution occurs when a user views a page containing that block.
