CVE-2024-8460Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated configuration disclosure via widget_api.cgi parameters

Published Sep 5, 2024 · Updated Sep 5, 2024

Information disclosure in D-Link DNS-320 2.02b01 allows remote attackers to read NAS hardware and storage configuration via widget_api.cgi. The unauthenticated /cgi-bin/widget_api.cgi endpoint returns model, volume, RAID, and configuration data when getHD, getSer, or getSys is supplied. Network reachability to the web interface is sufficient; the disclosure is read-only and does not alter files or device settings.
